Background:
India’s Hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) Phase-Out Management Plan (HPMP) Stage–III (2023 – 2030) is approved at the 91st Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Multilateral Fund (MLF) for the implementation of the Montreal Protocol and India’s ratification of the Kigali amendment.
GIZ - Proklima on behalf of the Government of Germany and in cooperation with the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India, is implementing HCFC phase-out activities focussed on the Indian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) servicing sector. The RAC servicing sector contributes a large share of the consumption of HCFCs, in particular in the room air-conditioner segment.
Purpose of the Tender:
The purpose of the tender is to procure and supply appliances, tools, and equipment to enlisted locations in India for client GIZ Proklima India. These appliances, tools, and equipment are required for conducting practical workshops as part of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) technicians training to be conducted by the GIZ Proklima programme all over India under the Hydrochlorofluorocarbon Phase-out Management Plan (HPMP) Stage III, through the empanelled training providers.
